Hey Don and Dave, thanks for commenting. That's interesting to hear about Kingda Ka, I did hear some things about it lacking a little atmosphere at the ride itself, but didn't think it would be out done by Dragster like you said. Surprising that they don't mention that is is the fastest and highest in the world, if I was marketing it I'd be telling everyone at every opportunity.

And yeah, I'd definitely like a record breaking coaster in Europe too, I don't fancy having to travel to the States or Japan to ride the best rides!

We've ridden Kingda Ka, Top Thrill Dragster and Superman and Dragster is by far the best. Although Kingda Ka is slghtly faster, it lacks the OTT build-up you experience on Dragster. And I cannot remember any claims while waiting to ride Kingda Ka that it was the fastest, etc, etc. Another star ride is Millennium Force in Ohio, which sprawls across the theme park to give a long ride to remember - especially as the storm clouds gather over the nearby lake! Let's hope they build a world record-breaker a bit nearer to home
